Textbook Grant Process

One grant will be presented each year at the June meeting. One high school senior from a Morrow County School District will receive the grant in rotation as follows:

Gilead Christian            2010

Highland                     2011

Mount Gilead               2012

Northmor                     2013

Cardington                  2014

 Eligibility:

The applicant must be planning to enter the field of Education.

Preference will be given to those planning to attend an Ohio accredited college or university.

The high school counselor will send a recommendation along with copies of all applications to the MCRTA Scholarship Committee.

 Funding:

Our goal is to present a one-time $500 grant each year.

Possible sources included the following:

Dues

Donations at meetings and any time

Memorial gifts for deceased members

Pie auction at the quarterly meetings

Used book exchange at meetings
